Algonquin Park opened in 1893, making it Canada’s oldest provincial park. It covers 7,653 square kilometers  over one and a half times the size of  the province of Prince Edward Island.  Algonquin Park holds over 2,400 lakes within its borders and 1,200 kilometers of streams and rivers, great for canoeing and kayaking.  There are many other activities to do within Algonquin including fishing, camping, swimming, hiking, dog sledding, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and more.

There are endless possibilities for adventure within Algonquin, and is perfectly situated within driving distance of Toronto and Ottawa.
