Algonquin Lakeside Cabins – Voyageur Quest Outfitting

Before of after your Algonquin Park Canoe Trip, stay at one of our Voyageur Quest Outfitting Lakeside Cabin's at Algonquin Park Access # 1 on Lake Kawawaymog. Make the best of your stay at Algonquin by resting up a night before your canoe trip at the Lakeside Tripper's Cabin or Lakeside Bunkhouse.  The Voyageur Quest Outfitter is located right beside the Algonquin Park permit office, the canoe launch, and parking lot. Down the shore both our Lakeside Cabin and Lakeside Bunkhouse are ideal spots to get prepared and spend a night before an early canoe tripper's start. You can cook fireside or be sure to book a dinner or breakfast at our Broken Paddle Patio.   

Overnight Lakeside Tripper's Cabin sleeps 4

The rustic Lakeside Cabin features two bunkbeds, a small seating area, a closet and a deck at the water's edge, a floating sauna, a fire-pit and benches, picnic tables, an outdoor shower, a double outhouse. A perfect location for a private group!

Overnight Lakeside Bunkhouse


The Lakeside Bunkhouse is situated at In the Lakeside Bunkhouse there are 4 rooms each with a different  number of bunks/beds. Room #1 has the most with 4 bunks or 8 beds; Rooms #2 has 3 bunks/6 beds; Room #3 has 2 bunks/4 beds and finally Room #4 also has 2 bunks/4 beds. Outside the bunkhouse, there are picnic tables, an outdoor shower, and outhouse. Call our office at 416-486-3605 if you have any questions.

The Adventure does not have to end after your Algonquin canoe trip. We have three great accommodations to choose from, all with beautiful  lakeside locations. Our Algonquin Cottage Outpost features  solar powered  cottages on Kawawaymog Lake, with a  FLOATING SAUNA to swim and dive off of. Just up the road on Surprise Lake you will find our Algonquin Log Cabin - great for large groups as it sleeps 12. For couples the Algonquin Island Retreat is perfect to relax and get away from the busy life - nominated a top destination by the National Post.

We have a wide variety of accommodations from our Lakeside Bunkhouse to at our Algonquin Log Cabin that sleeps 12 or choose from one of our chalet suites or cottage at the Algonquin Cottage Outpost down the lake from the outfitter. For couples looking for the ultimate post canoe  trip cabin, have a look at out  private Algonquin island Retreat located in the middle of Kawawaymog Lake.
